Each person with a Trauma Coping System is on their own journey of healing. The details of that journey are between them and God. That journey may involve counseling, prayer, groups, or a variety of other services. Whether or not to enter counseling is a very difficult decision for many people. Here is a testimony written by a lady in her 20s who had a TCS consisting of hundreds of parts. She has been in counseling for several years, and she wrote this after God had brought her to a point of integration with almost all of her parts:
"My whole life has changed. My legacy and my children’s legacy for generations to come has changed through what Jesus has done and is still doing through counseling services. God is bringing me to wholeness...which is turn is changing me (transforming me) from the inside, outside. I am being shown in love by Jesus that He, the lover of my soul, is also healing redeeming and restoring my soul as He promised, one step at a time."
Before starting counseling, she did not know she had a TCS, and she was opposed to getting counseling, but after God met with her, healed her, and brought her to a place of internal peace like she has never known before, she is very supportive of the counseling process, and most importantly, her faith in God has increased exponentially.
